Polar Industries Ltd. Announces the opening of its Warehouse facility this fall
Polar Industries is pleased to announce the opening of our warehousing facility at 220 Transport Road, Winnipeg MB. We are conveniently located on the east side of Winnipeg, seconds from the Perimeter and only 4 minutes to the Manitoba Hydro Riel station construction site. To service our customers we are now offering a 4000 sq ft heated indoor storage facility and a 2 acre fenced compound outdoor storage. We have equipment on site to lift single pieces up to 20,000lbs and have further access to various/multiple crane sizes within the area. Our yard and warehouse are fully secured, alarmed and security cameras indoors and outdoors. We are also open 7 days a week (weekends by appointment) to accommodate freight coming in from all regions of the country. This further allows us to expedite your hot shot loads immediately.

Polar Industries Ltd. Successfully completes it’s 2016 Ice Road Season
Another Ice road season has come to a close with the successful delivery of over 400 loads across Manitoba, Ontario and northern Alberta. We were quite pleased in entering the Alberta Ice Road market this past winter and are looking forward to continuing to do business with all our friends in the remote first nation communities.

Polar Industries is proud to announce the successful completion of the first project through our trans load facility in Gillam Manitoba.
Our Gillam Trans load is located on 20 acres of land adjacent the Hudson Bay rail line in Gillam Manitoba, 80km from the Keewatinohk/Bipole 3 Manitoba Hydro sites, as well as the Keeyask Hydro Electric dam site.
This first project saw the successful completion of 45 rail cars of pipe brought from the port of Vancouver off loaded in Gillam and brought to the Keewatinohk job site.
The 45 railcars were the equivalent of 158 truckloads, saving the customers PIPE AND PILING SUPPLIES LTD as well as PACER thousands in shipping costs. Polar Industries was able to successfully off load and deliver to site within 23 days from the arrival of the first rail car.

Ice Road Trucker Season 9 Premiers Sept 2nd in Canada on History Channel
For the fifth year in a row, Polar Industries Ltd. will be feature on History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers, Officially making them the longest running company on the popular television show.

June 15, 2014 Polar Industries Charitable food drive to St Theresa Point to be Featured on Ice Road Truckers 9
During our 2015 winter road season, Polar Industries donated fuel, labour and the use of a truck for the community of St Theresa Point. We were contacted by resident Clarina Taylor, who organized food donations to help offset the growing costs of groceries in the community. Polar stepped up to help this great cost and our efforts will be shown on History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers season 9.

Polar Industries has partnered with OmniTrax to create a trans load facility located in Gillam MB.

The new trans load allows suppliers to harness the efficiency of rail transportation to move their goods to Gillam, Manitoba where our team of professionals will transfer the goods to truck
