March 24th, 2015 Polar Industries Announces Transload Facility In Gillam Manitoba
Polar Industries is pleased to announce it’s Partnership with Omnitrax Canada to construct and manage a Transload facility in Gillam Mb.
- 139 km from the Keeyask dam site – the shortest highway distance to the project.
- 79 km from the Keewatinoow converter site.
The new transload allows suppliers to harness the efficiency of rail transportation to move their goods to Gillam, Manitoba where our team of professionals will transfer the goods to truck for transport over the final kilometers to the work site.
Working with local experts, we have put in place transfer equipment to handle all matter of goods including pipe, rebar, lumber, electrical equipment. We have cranes available with all of the attachments required to safely transfer your goods from rail to truck. We have trucks of all types available for the final leg of the journey.

October 16th, 2014. Province of Manitoba announces it’s involvement with Polar Industries.
Manitoba Hydro and BBE LP are creating history in Northern Manitoba with the construction of 2 mega projects. The Keeyask Generating station and the Keewatinohk Converter station are projects Polar Industries have been involved in for the last 2 years. In a press release issued on October 15, The Manitoba Government identified Polar Industries as one of the key players providing logistical support for these mega projects

June 30th 2014 Polar Industries Dominates the North
